For as long as she remembers, Margaux Mitera loved tinkering and all things science. She even created her own moon boots! Now she’s passing that love of science on, mentoring finalists in the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge. She mentored 2016 winner Maanasa Mendu, who created a device utilizing piezoelectricity materials that are both eco-friendly and cost efficient.
